Boy Butter breaks sales record at this years IML 2011 Marketplace

Boy Butter kicked butt this year at Chicago's 33rd annual International Mr. Leather and I wanted to share some highlights of the weekend. IML is the world's largest Leatherman competition and gathering that started in 1979. IML is a five-day international conference that attracts around 15,000 people from all over the world. In addition to the International Mr. Leather title competition, the event includes speakers, workshops, socials, dances and of course a marketplace. It is in this IML Marketplace which I have been working at since the year 2000 when I used to work at industry powerhouse, Nasty Pig. In 2003 I brought to market my own product and have been slinging Boy Butter at IML every year since. We had a lot of fun this year as my beau Brendan and best friend Xavier Caylor helped make this the most successful IML in the 8 year history of our company.

Netanyahu Rocks Congress with 29 Standing Ovations

Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu Speaks to the Joint Session of Congress. He says that Israel would be generous with the size of a Palestinian state, but would not return to the "indefensible" 1967 borders or divide the city of Jerusalem. In case you missed the speech Netanyahu’s Facebook page has a transcript. I’m stealing the headline from Philip Klein, but only because his metaphor is so apt: Given the entire joint session of Congress was whipped into a frenzy of enthusiasm, all that was missing here were glow sticks. If you ever want to understand what the issues in the Middle East are, just listen to this speech. It's the very best speech I ever heard on the issue.

Boy Butter Propaganda Machine in Chicago for IML 2011

Well the eighth anniversary of Boy Butter Personal Lubricants happens this very weekend. In Chicago at the marketplace section of the annual International Mr. Leather competition in 2003, Boy Butter was first brought to market. I was but a 25 year old kid in speedos and sneakers slinging my almost homemade personal lubricant to a crowd of gay fetish enthusiasts and those that love them and sold out completely. Eight years later of slippery wonderfulness at the same event and I am proud to say Boy Butter is still here and going strong. The beautiful Windy City of Chicago has hosted IML every year since 1978 and like me is 33 years old. To prepare I always arrive into town a few days early to prepare the city and it's famous gay village of Boystown on Halstead Street where my product is available in almost every adult and gay novelty store around. My posters are put up in stores, bars and landmarks so everyone walking about can feel the Boy Buttery goodness and know that this is the time of year when Chicago celebrates the birth of my little brainchild.

Rep. Steve Simon of Minnesota is making the Gays proud

Representative Steve Simon (DFL Hopkins/St. Louis Park) says a proposed anti-gay Minnesota constitutional amendment is largely about religion. He says if sexual orientation is innate as science is showing us, and not a lifestyle choice, then God created gay people. He asks how many gay people must God create before we accept that he wants them around.

This was one of the most eloquent and persuasive arguments for Gay rights I have heard in a long time.

Netanyahu sets Obama straight over his speech for Israel to retreat to 1967 borders

President Obama welcomed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House Friday, one day after the president's policy speech on the Arab world and Israeli-Palestinian relations called for a return to pre-1967 borders, a state Mr. Netanyahu called "indefensible." After a closed door meeting, Netanyahu reiterated that "Israel has certain security requirements. 

New Boy Butter Fresca Window Display Unveiled in Chelsea

The mean streets of NYC have been graced yet again with an illustrious photo of me lounging on a hammock trying to cool off in the searing summer heat. Boy Butter Fresca, the new cooling and tingly personal lubricant infused with a hint of menthol. By the way I want to give props to my gorgeous sister the ultra super model and genius photographer, Donna Feldman took this photo and Boy Butter is proud and better for it. Oh how proud my mother is to know her son is displayed under the bright lights of a neon peep show sign, heh heh.
