Guess who is featured on the new SAGE donation letter??

Check out my smiley mug I have on the top right corner, # 4.
It's totally cool to be included in this way, it is amazing and vital the services that they provide for the Gay community. To learn more about the country's largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) older adults click here.
My goal is to get to the age where I too can enjoy SAGE's services directly :  )

Jews for Jesus

Rabbi Shmuley Boteach claims Jesus was a Jew who never meant to create a new religion. He tests his theory on Harvard scholar Noah Feldman.

Rabbi Shmuley Boteach made a huge splash with his 1999 book, Kosher Sex. The book, along with works including Kosher Sutra and Kosher Adultery, flouts taboos against discussing physical intimacy, desire, and other basic elements of the human experience. Now he’s at it again, taking on perhaps the biggest taboo of all: Jesus. In Kosher Jesus, Boteach argues that Jesus, a faithful adherent and proponent of Judaism, never intended to create a new religion. That turn of events was a corruption of Jesus’ reputation by his followers, argues Boteach, and getting to a place where Jews and Christians alike recognize his Jewishness can only help achieve greater understanding between peoples of different faiths today.
Boteach joins Vox Tablet, hosted by Tablet’s Bari Weiss, to talk about his new book. With him on the podcast is Noah Feldman, a law professor at Harvard University and a longtime friend of Boteach’s, who has his own ideas about the potentials and limits of Jewish arguments about Jesus. In addition, Boteach solicits Feldman’s opinion on another pressing matter: Should Boteach run for Congress? Boteach has been weighing a candidacy and is expected to announce his final decision this week.

Listen to my special coverage of the 2012 AIPAC Conference (America Israel Public Affairs Committee) as correspondant for San Diego's 600 AM KOGO Radio's The Steve Yuhas Show where we cover the speeches given by U.S. President Barak Obama and Israel's President Shimon Peres as they address a crowd of over 13,500 people in the Walter. Notes from a former AIPAC Conference virgin

As a devoted and fervent zionist myself, I found my first AIPAC (America Israel Public Affairs Committee) conference to be exactly what I wanted it to be, totally awesome. Over 13,000 people converging from March 4th to the 6th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in D.C. to do their part to sustain and improve the vital strategic relationship between the United States and Israel. It is so beautiful to be around so many like minded Israel supporters who are either religious, secular, liberal, conservative, young, old, students, retirees, whole families or church and synagogue groups, all sharing the similar ideals of democracy, faith, values, and a clear bipartisan mission of tikkun olam (repair the world). So many of these inspiring folks are leaders who are educated and involved people actively engaged in their communities and with their political representatives in Washington D.C.
Iran is the dominant subject of the conference during this election year we have super-mega political superstar lineup like American president Barak Obama, Israel's president Shimon Peres, a panel of Fox News contributor Bill Kristol and Democratic political analyst Donna Brazile, Mike Murphy from Meet the Press and Paul Begala from CNN, all weighing in and giving us their opinion on the way forward. For a news junkie like me, today was like a twelve hour dose of CRACK (Whitney Houston's fave). Tomorrow Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu is speaking and I am all a quiver, can't wait for that, where I will be dressing super fancy for a gala dinner attended by half of congress and I can't wait to rub some elbows.

Some sad protesters selling nothing but resentment and negativity. One of them scrawled pro Taliban and Pro Hamas graffiti on the side of the Convention Center, classy.
