This morning I posted a statement made by an early 20th century author Shalom Aleichem I found to be funny but it sparked a lively conversation with a fellow Facebook friend today. It was fun because it was a passionate and thought provoking with a definite philosophical tone. It is rare to have such stimulating conversation nowadays. I just wanted to share it with you guys. Below is the conversation from my facebook wall and the debate that followed.
Eyal Feldman God, I know we are your chosen people, but couldn't you choose somebody else for a change? by Shalom Aleichem, about the Jews.

Love it! It's so frightening sometimes how so many religions have narrowed their vision of God so completely that it can't possibly include anyone but themselves. It would be a lonely world living here alone :-)
